Jenny

Jenny's passion for hair design and fashion is rooted deep in both her history and in her soul. Growing up, both of her grandmothers owned hair salons and the glamour of the hair industry fascinated her. A free spirit by nature, she decided to persue her dream to become a stylist and attended the Tennessee School of Beauty in 2003. While there, she was selected to be followed by a TV crew for an entire year to be featured weekly on the "Style" show. Within only a couple months of being there, she tested and was chosen to join the "Design Team". At her graduation, she was awarded "Most Outstanding Cosmetologist." After she received her license, she joined the team at Belleza Salon and Spa in Knoxville, TN and began another year and a half of training and apprenticing with educators and stylists that had been in the business for 20+years. In September 2005, she traveled to The Graham Webb Academy in Washington D.C. to complete an intensive program designed to sharpen awareness between cause and effect of haircutting by teaching artistic disciplines as a foundation. She then began quickly building her clientelle at Belleza where she continued monthly education to keep up with the latest trends and techniques. Jenny and Chris decided to move to his hometown of Salt Lake City to join together in building their own salon. With an emphasis on education and a drive unmatchable in this profession, Jenny looks forward to giving every guest of Vibe Hair Studio an amazing experience. Vibe-Can you feel it?

Chris

Growing up in Salt Lake City, Chris developed a love for the mountains and the many adventures that the midwest has to offer. He and Jenny met in 2000 and married in 2001. After the birth of their first son, they chose to move to Tennessee where Chris completed his degree in psychology at the University of Tennessee. While there, he was able to fulfill one of his lifetime dreams and built a beautiful house where his eye for design came in very handy. He did many other fantastic construction and remodeling jobs. He also ran a play ground construction business doing both commercial and residential structures. Chris and Jenny lived in Knoxville for 6 years before moving back to the Salt Lake Valley in fall of 2008. Jenny thought that his congenial personality coupled with his desire to own his own business made him a perfect candidate for a business partner! He loved the idea, and they decided to team up and open Vibe Hair Studio, with Chris taking care of the business aspect, allowing Jenny to focus on the creative side. His adventurous spirit will definitely be an asset to Vibe. Can you feel it?
